Joe Higashi, a former ninja, has been hiding in a remote American village with his family to escape his violent past. One night, a group of assassins from his former organization attack him, severely punishing Joe and his family for betraying their ancient tradition. Having survived "death", Joe emerges as a former Kamui ninja to avenge his family and friends. A 21st-century ninja, Kamui, with his ancient skills, ruthlessly faces advanced weapons and technology. He must confront trained assassins, cyborg fighters, and rival ninjas to overthrow the same tribe that created Kamui.
